Destroying Avalon
In the book Destroying Avalon by Kate McCaffrey I had been able to interpret the text very easily in various techniques due to my personal experiences and context.
If the theme of intimidation – specifically cyber intimidation – was introduced throughout the characters, my own immediate response was feelings of compassion towards the victims, Avalon and Marshall. This is due to, in the way that McCaffrey offers formed realistic look in the character's development, I am able to relate to the problem as I find out real who represent Avalon and Marshall through my personal view.
Through the text Avalon feels revealed and isolated " exclusively in my bedroom, the one place I had sensed safe until it was occupied through my personal fifteen inch, flat display monitor” webpage 127. This will make me feel anxious and scared for Avalon mainly because she is being invaded in her own bedroom. This personally pertains to me because of having a framework of understanding people that pertains it styles my response to the situation by simply feeling like the book is a lot more actual and factual and sense certain feelings, making it seem to be more like Now i am reading a non-fiction story.
As a visitor of the same age as the characters, That stuff seriously I'm able to be familiar with novel better because of the way that McCaffrey has effectively used the narrative meeting of dialect. This is because the majority of the language used is similar to what young adults use on the web today, through text, and in addition verbally including such words resembling " bf” – meaning sweetheart, and " LOL” –translating to chuckle out loud. Considering that the novel is definitely aimed at teenagers, they will be capable to interpret the text better.
