Developing multiculturalism in Sweden difficulties health professionals to provide safe and culturally significant care. Dissimilarities between the health--disease explanatory models of lay persons and health professionals may lead to interaction problems, which usually ultimately may affect wellness outcomes. The essence this analyze was to explore beliefs about food and health while pregnant and suckling. Increased know-how and understanding among health care professionals on such issues ought to facilitate broadly congruent diet counselling. Person interviews had been performed between first-generation Iranian female immigrants in the state of Stockholm. The interviews followed a collection of predefined key questions. Content analysis of interview transcripts followed a grounded theory approach. Five major types emerged, which will referred to 'hot-cold' values, foetal attributes, pleasure of desires, survival from the mother, and quantity and quality of breast dairy. 'Mother's diet provides power that sustains life' come about as the most relevant core concept. This study demonstrated mother's strength being important for a prosperous pregnancy result and lactation.
